We support innovators through three programs: the Berkeley Climate Action Proof-of-Concept Program, the BioEnginuity Impact Grant, and the Bakar Fellows Program.
Berkeley Climate Action Proof-of-Concept Program
The Berkeley Climate Action Proof-of-Concept Program (BCAPP) empowers UC Berkeley faculty to accelerate climate solutions from lab to market through targeted funding, mentorship, and commercialization support.
BioEnginuity Impact Grant
The BioEnginuity Impact Grant supports doctoral students working in STEM fields with an emphasis on bioconvergence — the intersection of life sciences with physical sciences, engineering, and/or data science, who have an interest in translating their research to solve important societal problems.
Bakar Fellows Program
The Bakar Fellows Program at UC Berkeley accelerates important research discoveries and innovations out of the lab and into the hands of people who need them most.
